Bookings.com rejected my review because ut had the room number that I stayed in. I was also not able to edit the review to remove the room number. This explains how the pavilion hotel had such high reviews, all the low reviews were blocked out.

Here's my review without the room number: my review of Pavilion Hotel:

I had to call at least 6 times to confirm my booking, it was either nobody answering, someone answering and cutting the call or being transferred and then cut.

There were only 16 parking bays inside the hotel's premises, which were on a 1st come 1st serve basis. We had to park our car on a roadside parking area.

Room *** had a safe that did not lock (battery acid destroyed the electronics), The shower took ages for hot water, all the furniture was damaged, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, there was no milk provided for making tea, there was no toothpaste available on site, when requesting for an iron and ironing board, we only got an iron.

I booked a standard room and got a twin room instead & i was not allowed visitors.

I can't understand how they have a rating of good 7.0 on booking.com.

Will definitely not be staying here ever again.
