Bookings.com and *** Radio Silence when customer reqquires a refund

What a horrific experience. I had placed a booking as we needed to attend a family funeral. Five minutes after placing the booking, i contacted bookings.com to refund. As i could not successfully get a response, I contacted the accomodation directing - 30 The Waterfront. They confirmed cancellation. When i attempted to recover my funds they have not responded to date. The email is dated feb 2020. Please do not use booking.com or *** as when u need assistance, you get radio silence.
