BOOKING.COM - WORST HOLIDAY AGENCY

I booked an holiday at 203 Zimbali Durban on the 5th November 2024 from the "26th December until the 3rd January 2025". I paid immediately and recieved my confirmation of booking via email on the 5th November 2024.

On the 28th of November 2024 I was called to be notified that my booking was going to be cancelled due to a double booking at 203 Zimbali" The agent that phoned was ******** enough to say that this happens often with booking.com " In addition she tried to sell me another package which was shorter than my booking but double the price "disgraceful" I though that Zimbali was suppose to be one of the sought after holiday venues but surely also ****mers .... Be aware.....

I am shocked at the disgusting service from booking.com - firstly is this not against the Consumer Act or is this ***** by sending a confirmation of secured booking "BUT 25 DAYS LATER CANCELLING THE BOOKING". Does it take that long to pick up a problem with your site and at the customers disadvantage. Arrangements were made from Johannesburg to Durban for those days "Do you guys ever consider these factors" If we were made aware the next day or two days later it would of been understandable but you guys ruined our holidays for the festive season and left us stranded without accomadation.

To make matters worse the consultant who we spoke to from Booking.com international said that she would sort out the matter and in two days we can expect to receive a mail with the same level accomodation or a better accomodation at no extra cost "DAM THAT WAS A JOKE" in two days we did receive a mail to say "APOLOGIES YOUR BOOKING WAS CANCELLED". Thereafter we received a mail to rate booking.coms service.

I will never use booking.com ever again or recommend them to anyone. People please be aware " They cannot guarantee a booking, dont be a victim like myself and left stranded at the last minute - they called me 25 DAYS LATER " with no solution or remorse - just cancelled the booking. They make promises but don't fulfill the promise and still want us to rate their service. "DISGUSTING"
