Booking.com withholding host payout since October 2025 – no resolution

I am a Booking.com host and my payout for Property ID ***1 (Modern 2 Bedroom in De Waterkant, Cape Town) has been withheld since October 2025.

Despite repeated emails, Extranet messages, and phone calls over several months, this matter remains unresolved. I was advised the delay was due to a verification process. However, instead of completing the verification, I received a call from Booking.com’s finance department asking when I would pay the commission invoice — while Booking.com is still holding my payout, which exceeds the commission amount.

This has caused severe financial strain and mental stress. I am a mother of two running a small business, and these funds are critical to my livelihood. I should not have to chase or beg for money that is rightfully mine.

At this stage, I am escalating publicly because all internal channels have failed. I am requesting the immediate release of my withheld payout and clear communication on why this has taken so long.

This experience has been deeply disappointing and unprofessional.
