BOOKING.COM! USE IT AT YOUR OWN PERIL - LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!

Confirmed my booking - took my money - unilaterally cancelled my booking without my knowledge - refund will take 7 - 12 days (they say)! Impossible to get hold of them - they do not answer their phone at *** - yes, that is their number in RSA, BUT it's nowhere to be found on their website! It doesn't even ring! Virtually impossible to e-mail them - being sent from pillar to post - it seems none of their staff have a surname - just Vanessa D. and it seems other people had the same experience. Tourism Complaints Office at *** is extremely helpful, but even they say that it is extremely difficult to deal with Booking.com You will use Booking.com at your own peril - let the buyer beware! There is a reason why they have a trust index of 1% !!
