Booking.com ulimate flop

Very poor customer service and very little assistance. The also seem to confirm bookings without informing the property at times. Be careful when using this platform to book. I was due to travel to Cape Town and decided to try and contact the property where I had a booking. The place was called 'Waters Edge Luxury Apartments'. I was unble to get hold of anyone at the property via telephone, email or messaging on ***. I alerted the customer service agent offhis and se too said she tried to get hold of them with no success. My booking suddenly disappeared the next day on the app and noone is telling me what is going on. With that it's safe to say I've been dooped out of R6800!
