Booking.com stole R4000.00 of my accommodation money.

I asked booking.com to upgrade 1/4 rooms for an agreed amount with the chat agent. I received 6 emails asking me to make a payment of an amount that was not agreed. 6 emails for which seemed to be for all 4 rooms. Thereafter I contacted the chat agent for clarity with no response. A day later my entire booking was cancelled with no warning or communication. Booking.com has stole of R4000.00 of my accommodation money and they refuse to contact and communicate with me adequately.
