Booking.com Rides is as bad as booking.com

I booked a taxi under Rides. "Cancel for free" it said. I cancelled half an hour later and got an email to say I would not be refunded any money because it was within 24 hours of the ride. I point out nowhere on the booking did it say that, it was 23 hours and 20 minutes, and the trip would have been 35 minutes so the driver hadn't exactly set out. Total rip-off.
