Booking.com refund

Booked with Booking.com in July 2022 and the place The Blade crystal lagoon adviced that i cancel my booking in September which i did and when i spoke to booking.com about my refund the said i need to speak to the property and when i spoke to Crystal lagoon they said book.com has not paid they, they only pay them few days after we check out. Till today my R6300 is still with them and it seem they are not willing to refund me since i have been sending email. Im even scared to use them for my booking .
