Booking.com really do not have an Insurance cover for partners when ******

I was ****** recently by a guest who checked into my apartment through Booking.com for a night. This individual stripped everything in my apartment and left before day break. I contacted Booking.com and was told that I must send the request for payment to the guest. Remember, this guest stole from my apartment, took the tv, tv box, wifi router, microwave, house deco, even took spare beddings and towels. When I went to file for this request, I am not able to exceed R300, and what was taken from me is close to R12000 worth of goods. Thos happened since 23/24 March 2025, and till date , Booking.com has only tried to reach me once and did not succeed on the phone. The rest are *********** agents sending messages that I must log onto their extranet and send my messages to them. As if, that's not what I have been doing all along. I expected them to at least reach out to me, because as it stands now, I closed down the business because there is nothing much in the apartment. These all tell me that all the hefty commission Partners are being charged go straight into their pockets, there is no consideration to pay insurance in the incident of theft. This is scary because you do not know who you are bringing into your space, especially if you live in the same place where you rum your business, a ******** or a psycho can come in and harm you and your family and Booking.com will look the other way or put the blame on you.
