Booking.com offers no service!

I think everyone out there should be aware that Booking.com takes no responsibility for a booking that goes wrong. We arrived at our destination with all bookings confirmed on Booking.com, but they never updated the booking with our hosts. Fortunately the guesthouse where we made our booking were able to help us, because on their side our booking was incorrectly recorded by Booking.com.

I’m writing this review because this is not the first time Booking.com has let us down - they charge the service provider 15% of the booking value, and yet their service for incorrect bookings is non-existent. I think it’s about time someone calls Booking.com out for their terrible service. Be aware - rather book your accommodation directly.
