Booking.com no response

Not sure why I am even bothering as booking.com does not bother to respond. After trying to contact Booking.com and not being able to I have had to resort to penning this review. I made a booking through booking.com and opted to pay later as I was still scouring the sites for other options. Only to have been charged an exorbitant amount (which was not in my bank account, thankfully). Trying to get hold of anyone to assist is a nightmare , there is just no contact point.
