Booking.com is a ****

I booked a house on booking.com named Eden on Bay in Cape Town, i paid the full amount which is R3300. a month later i viewed my booking and saw a review from a lady who mentioned that the place was non-existent and she realized this when she got to the place. i then called booking.com on the 10 July and spoke to a lady called Maria who was meant to sort the situation with giving me a refund or book accommodation. i've been trying to call the owner on *** but they dont pick up. i then cancelled the reservation and i have not received the refund and booking.com has not intervened even though they are the ones who listed the property on their site. its disgusting really!
