BOOKING.COM IS A MONEY MAKING ****

My fiancé and I made and paid for our booking on 5th of August 2024. Our reservation was from 08th August 2024 to 10th of August 2024. On the morning of our check in day, the host contacted my partner and explained via whatsapp that there was an incident in the apartment where the window was broken and he need t make a decision as to whether they can change the booking to a different accommodation. My partner indicated that our check in will only be the evening after 8pm which gives him time to sort out the situation, there was never a final decision made or the matter was never concluded. The host would ignore our messages and also refused to call us or provide a contact number. I tried to whatsapp him but then he reported my whatsapp as spam and I was blocked for the entire day where I was unable to even go into my whatsapp or send or receive messages. He was aware of that and delibrately sent me a message after he reported my account as spam. We were refused entry that evening and ended up being stranded. The host would take up to an hour to respond if he even did. He kept referring us to customer care which never answered. We want our full refund. We have not even checked in, the host did not even bother checking for alternative accommodation or making sure we are safe. I WILL NEVER MAKE USE OF BOOKING.COM EVER AGAIN!!!
