Booking.com is a *****

People should be aware of this please, I wouldn’t want the same thing to happen to the next person. Two weeks ago I booked an accommodation with booking.com for my husband, I saw a guest house by the name of Ndivho guest house in Limpopo, it looked so beautiful and clean and only had one review, I don’t know why I didn’t see that as a red flag. It was made clear on the website that the money you pay to book is non refundable. Okay I went on to book an accommodation because I have been using booking.com for many years now and I have never experienced any *****. I then paid the required total amount online, late at night when my husband got to the venue, he was turned away, and was told that the guest house no longer has any contract with booking.com and now he will have to pay again because they have not received any money from booking.com. My husband had to then turn back and go find a place to sleep because he had no cash with him, I was really hurt because I trusted booking.com. And to my surprise that guest house is still advertised on their website. and I have been contacting them regarding this matter, and I have been sent from pillar to post🤧
