Booking.com has ********** properties and they don't do anything about it. Also their 'customer service' is a complete joke
If I coulld give ZERO stars I would! - Wanted to stay at a property but couldn't gain access... - After many 1 sided conversations from my side we decided to book emergency accomodation (atleast that worked and they were helpful and lovely - I'm pretty sure it helped that this emergency accomodation wasn't a ****/***** and is actually a Lodge) - Then begain the terrible "customer support" [if I can call it support].... which is terrible/ basically non-existent - Right after checking in to the emergency accomodation we reached out to Booking.com, afterwich we received crickets / nada / zilch / no communication... - All we got was the generic "we have forwarded your request to... " - I had assumed at this point since this is on a weekend that I would hear something in the coming few business days, but no... - Many follow-ups, resending of evidences, and calls to "customer support" all resulted to a "we're sorry" and "Unfortunately, the property has declined to waive the cancellation fees, and as they manage the reservation's cancellation policy and payment terms, we're unable to override their decision." - It is NO surprise that the **** ********** 'property' won't "waive the fee" as they are a ***** and **** and ****s and *****s ***** ones money!! - I have received other responses that just indicate to me that they DO NOT READ any complaint that is sent to them. One response I received from 'customer support' was they can't help that the internet was down that day at the ***** **** property, weeks AFTER what I am complaining about happened!!
Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, something comes from this... Booking.com please check your customer support emails and actually look at the evidence I provide!
If you are reading this review you are probably someone who is also annoyed (to but it nicely). If not consider this an advert to literally use any other service instead of staying through them and their ********** ******** 'properties'
