Booking.com Double Bookings

Booked using Booking.com for the 22nd to the 24th of October. September the 19th Booking.com they debited money from my account and that fully confirmed our stay the Lionsview private lodge. Between Lionsview and Booking.com I don’t know who made a big with a double booking.

We traveled all the way from Gauteng to Marloth park that was over 400kms of driving. 40mins away from the property I called to enquire about collection of keys. We then realised from the shock and confused voice of the lady that she had our booking as the next weekend.

The property owner really tried to get a suitable place for us. Booking.com found an alternative place but the price was 2times more than the one we booked initially.
