Booking.com DOES NOT HONOR THEIR OWN GUARANTEES!!

After making a booking at a VERY EXPENSIVE HOTEL with booking.com with certain dates, dates that later needed to be changed, I was told by booking.com to make and pay for ANOTHER booking with the desired dates and that once the second bookings payment reflects, a refund on my initial booking is guaranteed. This was in January. I have still not received my refund on the first booking, so I now have two PAID bookings for the same hotel, only of which one is confirmed. This is borderline ********!!
