booking.com customer service poor

I made a booking through booking.com.After a few minutes I was called to say they were overbooked and the booking was cancelled.Payment had been processed and never refunded.After calling booking.com numerous times with them to investigate and get the refund I even forwarded prrof of payment no refund was issued .
