Booking.com allows false advertising! I visited Voelklip holiday house in Herm**** on the weekend of 29 March 2019. What I saw on the advertising on Booking.com was false and was not what I got. There was so many things broken in this holiday home. The blinds in the lounge was torn and broken, the Kitchen counters were broken, cracked and filthy. Bedding was stained. The 1 on-suite bathroom was extremely moldy and the shower panel was broken and off the hinge. This same bathroom's window was broken and the bedroom window's handle was broken as well. Andre, the owner, only has 4 glasses in a holiday house for 8 guests? He only has 1 sauce pan as a pot? The lounge needs a paint and the place has a moldy smell! The brown linen chair in the picture is all ripped with the foam coming out of it ... I have all the photos of Voelklip Holiday house! The owner marked me as a no-show so that I could not place a bad review on it. I am very disappointed that Booking.com allows a property like Andre's to be advertised on their site - this advertising does not live up to its claims and is a false sale! Andre, the owner, marked my stay as a no show - so that my review on the Booking.com site would not be valid! This holiday experience via Booking.com allowed my money to be wasted on what I thought would be a well deserved break. It shows that Booking.com does not do regular property checks!
