Booking.com ****

Two weekends ago I logged into Booking.com, booked a night at one of the premises in Maboneng, Gauteng, here in South Africa. I paid up and I received a confirmation email with pin. When I arrived at the premises, I was told at the reception that the place has been closed since last year. When I reported this to Booking.com, Im told that there is nothing they can do, yet this place is still up on their website to be booked. They clearly never removed it even though its no longer in operation. They are taking people's money and claim that there is nothing they can do. Im wondering how many business out there that aren't in operation that they claim no responsibility for but get their cut from this. This company has disappointed me.
