Beware of false advertising

I wanted to change a booking and was advised by booking.com to rather cancel the existing booking and make a new one which was done. Then I received a mail informing nothing more had to be done from my side as the refund will be processed. Well it’s been a month now, after numerous mails and phone calls and yet still no refund???
