BEWARE OF BOOKING.COM

Booked 4 flights on Booking.com from Jhb to Cpt, and I went through the whole process including entering credit card details, they accepted payment and then pop screen appeared to say airline changed their prices to more than double what I paid for! My total was about R6900 and new price more than R14 000!!! They then showed booking as cancelled but money was still reserved on my card. When I phoned, the lady told me to contact my bank?? It is Christmas day and that is not possible. How can you be allowed to proceed to payment when the prices increased by that much all of a sudden? And afterwards, I checked and the prices still reflects on the site as per the lower price I accepted when booking. This may constitute bait-marketing?
