Beware of Booking.com extra hidden charges

I made a booking on the 17th of July through Booking.com. The next day I noticed an amount of R1062.00, which was not mentioned when hooking, was deducted on my credit card. This extra charge was " International transaction fee" Absolutely no reply/response when sending messages to query. There is no email address on their website to contact them.
