"Bay Point" Beach Road, Cape Town
We arrived at the premises at approximately 15:30 and there was no one to meet us. We asked alll around and tried to phone the number that had been provided to us, which is apparently a number in Germany, which was impossible for us to get through to, as we don't have international roaming on either of our phones.
We managed to get hold of a facility manager fot the building who somehow through a residents/owners whatsapp group, contacted your agent who then tried to contact us.
By this time we had already booked in the the City Lodge, Waterfront. She then said thatt he booking was the 01:00 - 02:00 which is absurd to say the least. You will see with the attached that it distinctly says book-in is 14:00 - 18:00
We arranged to meet the next morning at 09:00. The agent arrived 20 minutes late and said that the had not read the text message timeously from the previous day, as she was in the pool with her kids.
The unit is as advertised, and although it advertised that it has Netflix, this is not entreily correct, as while there is a Netflix 'connecting box' the subscription must be paid the the user i.e. tenant, so we feel misled.
Considering the circumstances, we request a refund for the hotel accommodation (at a conservation hotel) as per our initial email communications (as of 9 February) which to date have been ignored.
