Bad experience with Booking.com

I've had the worst experience with Booking.com and will never use their services again. I have only booked with them twice where one of them was a **** and the other's price wrongly advertised on their website.

The White Apart in Trapzon is a complete **** and does not even exist. Luckily we confronted the owner and didn't lose any money, but how can Booking.com have no control over who is listed on their website?? There are many reviews stating that this place is a ****, but still they are allowed to list their **** property on Booking.com!

We also booked Pensione Roma in Bodrum through Booking,com where the price was advertised as 1.71Euro. I reserved one room for this price thinking that it is a reservation fee before we pay the full amount on arrival. When I booked 112.6Euro was taken from my account. We spoke to the owner at the property and he cancelled our stay, promising that we will be refunded by Booking.com. It is almost 2 months later and still have not received my money back.

I tried to email Booking.com and had no success on reaching them. How can such a big travel agenct site like Booking.com be so useless?
