Bad business ethics. Sponging on Covid 19 mishap

I had booked accommodations in Durban for a holiday and had to cancel due to the Covid 19 Lockdown. I specifically gave reasons for canceling and I was still charged the commission and fee. How can they do this knowing that this is due to an international pandemic that we don't have control over. This is appaling service and business ethics.
