Avoid Antibes (Sandton) / Booking.Com

Never book apartment listed at Antibes (18 West Road Sandton, South Africa)

We made upfront payment through www.booking.com and the apartment was not available upon specified date, despite "Special Request" noting early time of arrival and this was ignored. Security did not recognise the booking and refused access to the property complex leaving us on the side of the road to contact the property manager.

We called the property manager 25 times (per listed contact number) and attempted communicate via the app and email for over 3 hours. Upon calling booking.com overseas did a property representative call and then add further T&Cs not legally listed.
