I really wish I had taken heed of the bad reviews for book a book. They are a bunch of ******** and what's worst is they exploit students, the very people who have the least money and are trying to study to improve our lives.

I rented a book for my one module at Unisa. As part of the rental agreement I had to pay a deposit equal to the full price of the book (about R450). It took forever for them to deliver the book, and when the time came to return it, I had to follow up with them repeatedly to collect it. That's all still palatable...

I returned this book in June 2021, it is now Jan 2022 (6 months later) and I still haven't received my refund of the deposit. So yes I paid the full price for a book I no longer have... I have tried calling them, emailing their support and sales department, I even tried starting an online chat on their website. No reply about when I'm getting my deposit back. Their address is not even valid anymore so you literally have nowhere to turn...

I don't know how they are allowed to still operate and have opened a case of ***** against them at the police office.
