Not recommended

We ordered textbooks on 12 January 2021 and they are still not delivered a month later. Bookabook are also no longer responding to emailed enquiries

After our order received a response on 13 January that the order was received and being processed.

The FAQs on the bookabook.co.za website specify that they ship orders within 4 to 7 days. We did not receive any further feedback and so on 20th Jan we submitted a query. This was responded to very promptly on the same day and they apologised for the delay, explained it was partly supplier problems and also issues with COVID.

On 24 January I asked for a further update (and for an extra book) and again they responded on the same day, saying they hoped to deliver "early next week".

On the 31st January I again queried where our order was but got no response. I followed this up on 8 February but have had no response.

I have rated them two stars instead of one (which is a true reflection of where things stand) only because the website is user friendly and the initial experience and communication was good.

But with no further communications and my children books still not delivered on 11 February they have not performed and not delivered on their promises. They have gone from good to very poor customer and after sales service.

I would not recommend them.
