DO NOT BUY FROM BOOK A BOOK!!

Please do not order books from Book a Book. They advertise books for a lot cheaper than the normal price. Obviously as a consumer, one would opt for the cheaper option. Rather pay the normal price at other outlets than buy from them. I placed my order on the 27/07/2022 and it was only processed and invoiced on the 29/07/2022. My order was supposed to be dispatched on the 18/08/2022. When following up on my order- if they answer their phones or respond to emails- they give you vague responses as to when your books will arrive. It is a pity that I only read reviews on here too late. If you would like to speak to the manager, they refuse. I asked for his number and they refused. What sort of company does let customers speak to a sales manager???? They do not respond to emails, which they outright ignore. It was only after I sent a really nasty email demanding my refund and threatened legal action and to report them to SAPS, they responded immediately and gave me my refund thankfully. It is absolutely appalling how they are still allowed to operate as a business. MORAL: DO NOT ORDER FROM BOOK A BOOK!
