Bookabook makes things right

Last year around July/August I too fell victim to bookabook. I paid for a book that I never received. I opened a case at the Randburg police station and tried to get my money back through FNB (as I EFT'd bookabook the money). Unfortunately, FNB was unable to get the money back. Fast forward to February 2020 and I randomly received an email from bookabook apologising and telling me that they'd like to refund me. I did not believe them and didn't wish to share my bank details so I told them they could drop my money off at the Randburg police station. This week on Monday (10 February) I received my money. I didn't know that the police station doesn't accept money so they came to drop it off at my house.

It is unfortunate that things went the way they did but I do commend bookabook for trying to make things right.
