Compostable Plastic is the answer to the necessity of plastic.

I ordered online and the bags and cling wrap arrived within 24 hours. Then I stuck some bags in.the compost and they did disintegrate over about 4 weeks. I have a very inefficient compost system. I think this is the way to go. Paper has a horrible impact on the environment. Just the transport of paper adds far more CO2 than the kg/km transport of plastic.
