Worst medical aid

I could have my way I wouldn't choose any medical aid, because they are all ****s, but after being on Bonitas I think they are the worst. I've had to fight with them to pay for things, you have to get a doctor's referral for the simplest of specialist appointments and the dentists and doctors on their network are subpar. To add insult to injury, I wanted to change my plan as I pay R2600 a month and they barely cover anything, but was told I need to show proof that I can't afford it anymore in order to change before the end of the year. What a load of nonsense, if I can't afford something anymore then that's that, shouldn't have to prove anything to get off your terrible medical aid scheme
