Worst medical aid BONITAS

Never have I ever been so disgusted with a medical aid. Bonitas has little to no communication and let alone they don't explain or help people understand what their plan entails. We have been paying medical aid the primary option of +-R4200. I needed to have a root canal done so I call before hand asking what our plan will help with regards to the procedure that I needed done. Other than the fact that I was in heaps amount of pain. The root canal had to be done. So I email them and they respond saying the root canal won't be paid for... Emails back and forth still not understanding why it won't be paid for, eventually getting a number and getting through to someone and the lady explained to be why but explained that it's just the root canal that won't be paid for but EVERYTHING else will be paid for. Resin, x-rays, anesthetic that lot. So I am only liable for the root canal that should come to about R1500 +-... I don't remember her name not did I ask for a reference number as I trusted that everything will work out. I had the procedure done and then found out today that I owe R2200+- so I called the dental part of my medical aid AGAIN asking why I am now liable for MORE??? The lady on the other end said that they aren't covering the x-rays... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????!!! THIS IS WHY I CALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE!

BONITAS, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DISGRACEFUL. Seriously never had to struggle this much with a medical aid. If I could give a minus I would.
