Worst customer service ever

Bonitas worse medical aid ever Since Bonitas has moved from Medscheme to Momentum

They have become the worse to deal with, the customer service has gone to the trash. I have been trying for so long to get Authorisation for a BP monitor.

According to my benefits if I am diagnosed with BP I am entitled to a monitor up to the value of R 1250.00

But thats a lie because I am expected to get a motivational letter from the doctor and a quote from a pharmacy. After arguing this with the people on the phone all they can tell me that is what they were told to say when I questioned why this is not stated in the brochure or anywhere on the benfits.

I then get a motivational letter and a quote against my better judgement and it gets authorises but not for the amount of the quote which was R 1200.00 it was only Authorised for R 800.00

Then I get asked to resend the quote with my medical aid details on which I do and now I keep sending them questions about if the authorisation was done and changed to the amount but nobody responds

You cannot send any queries or questions on the website where it allows you because nobody responds within the 48 hours or at all. Instead I get a statement which I never asked for. I have logged multiple queries but they never get back to you.

If you asked me Bonitas made the worse mistake of there life changing to Momentum because since momentum took over. NOTHING gets done. I am at my wits end, imagine paying R 72k a year for medical aid and this is the type of service we must get

Can someone please call me and tell me why I am only getting authorised for a portion of the Blood pressure monitor I app**** for?

Also show me where it states in the brochure that I am require a motivational letter and a quote from a pharmacy for this.

Because all I can find is that I need to be diagnosed with High blood pressure.

Even though I have submitted the motivational letter and quote I am only being authorised for R 800.00 although my benefit states I am entitled to a monitor to the value of R 1250.00

Can someone please answer my questions
