What does Bonitas cover - totally useless!!!
Yet again, Bonitas has declined another request for treatment!!!
This time, my wife has asked for Pre-auth to get a MRI scan for a mammogram as requested and motivated by her doctor.
I blame myself for choosing Bonitas at the start of this year - biggest mistake I’ve ever made!!!

24 Aug 2022, 12:07I really don't think that Bonitas can sink any lower, and then they surprise me yet again.
For any woman, the threat of breast cancer is very real and scary.
To manage this, my wife goes regularly for mammograms and when they pick up anomalies, her specialist has performed numerous biopsies (FYI that's when they cut out parts of her breast to analyze for cancer).
Bonitas keeps rejecting her request for an MRI scan that will show in detail what needs to be done.
The latest excuse from Bonitas is now that she needs to go an see her gynecologist for a letter??? What next? FYI - different part of the female anatomy.
Please reconsider and approve the MRI scan.
