WARNING: Unpaid GP claim even with funds still available for GP's and Specialist's by Bonitas.

I consulted earlier this week as I urgently needed medical help, when the doctor submitted a claim to Bonitas the claim was rejected and Bonitas advised that it was rejected because the GP consulted is not a nominated GP. how absurd is this, there are funds and Bonitas refuses to pay because I used a different doctor even though they don't charge above the normal rate with other Medical schemes you would be required to pay shortfall if they the doctor charges above the normal tariff rate. I am warning everyone out there - this is really ridiculous - I have funds but I am forced to pay from my pocket because I used a different doctor because they open earlier than the nominated doctor.
