Verification of income

My parents are on the BonCap option. They earn only a government pension. During January 2016 I submitted the receipts received from SASA for my mothers income since my Dad is to sick to stand in the line since they need his fingerprint to print his receipt. However, my mom is the main member hence her proof was submitted including bank statements.<br> <br> The forms submitted was rejected in January 2016 stating that they need the proof on a letter head. According to the SASA office the information given to me is the only documents they provide to their members. <br> <br> Bonitas refuses to adjust my parents membership contribution to the income bracket as provided and expect R3400 (+/-) payment from them. How can any expect it if you monthly income is not even R2000 per month? When I asked if we can cancel the membership today to immediately join another medical aid they informed me that my mom will be liable for the payment of R3400 by the end of Feb as well. My dad is 85 and my mom 75, how should they survive this?<br> <br> Please assist with matter!<br>
