************ Conduct by Bonitas

I would like to express my utmost dissatisfaction with Bonitas incompetency at its Finance Department. Because in May 2022, Bonitas Medical aid overcharged me by deducting R2,854 from my salary on top of my monthly contribution of R5,614. On 18 May 2022, I brought this to the attention of Bonitas through an e-mail to ***, ***, ***, and ***, however, none of this helped. Subsequently, on 21 May 2022, I received a refund of R5,614 and then wrote an e-mail to Bonitas (including to ***) explaining that I have been over refunded what was due to me. I could not have refunded the difference as I have noted the incompetency of personnel in the finance department who could not do proper reconciliation. I have trace of e-mails explaining one thing to Bonitas but this could not help as Bonitas constantly kept on informing that I am owing R5,614 and I have disputed that. Today I received an e-mail informing that my membership has been suspended with immediate effect. I would like to bring to the attention of Bonitas and the public at large that Bonitas is ******** and harassing members and I am not going to allow that. I therefore URGENTLY request Bonitas to go back to its books and look at how much was received from my employer for the month of May 2022 and reinstate my membership. Otherwise I would be left with no option but to contact my legal clinic for remedial actions and also publish this ************ behavior by Bonitas on social media as it regard itself as a big Corporate that has the financial muscles and resources to harass its members.
