I am amember of Bonitas Boncap med aid with member no *** On 06/02/2022 my wife had a operation on her right shouderfor rotator ciuff repair by Dr HF Visser at the Eugene Marais hospital under the authorization no ***0 dd 04/02/2022 After a month or two the hospital sent me a demand to pay the amount of R58238.97, which the med aid did not pay, the invoice oroiganally sent to the med aid by the hosp was R72907.74 Mywife was in hosp for 1( one) day and not even in ICU or anywhere els Now my request or call it a claim is why was the hosp not paid in full if there was a authorization number in place Furthermore may I just mention that me and my wife are state pensioners and our combined pensions does not even cover the med find contribution I hope sincerely you could help me with this matter Yours sincerely , Leon Potgieter, tel ***
