UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

My husband joined as part of a group on the 1st of December. On the 11th of January, we went to see a Dr, where the Dr then told us that I am pregnant. I was then 7 weeks along. After numerous emails sent, and phone calls made to the medical aid, we haven't received a valid response. My Dr provided a letter to the medical aid where someone then notified us that my pregnancy will be cover seeing that it was not pre-existing when I joined. Then I received an email stating that they have placed a waiting period on my pregnancy, after I was notified that they wouldn't because I was very early in my pregnancy, and I was not pregnant when I joined the medical scheme. It has been a week, and I still haven't received feedback why they placed a waiting period on a pregnancy that was conceived in December. Today, on the 17th of January, after I received the letter stating I was placed on a 12-month waiting period, I again got told by the same person that my pregnancy will be covered and that they were informed by underwriting that it will be covered, but then all of a sudden, they changed it again saying that they need to review it again. Once again, how am I placed on a waiting period for a pre existing condition if I conceived after I joined the medical aid. I am still awaiting for feedback and no one can give me any response. I changed from Discovery to Bonitas but I am starting to think that perhaps I should just go back to Discovery because it seems that no one knows what they are doing.
