UNHAPPY AND FURSTRATED CUSTOMER

I went to do operation on my wrist 13 March 2019 from sunninghill hospital by Doctor Andrew Barrow, before the operation I called medical aid for authorization and they approved the operation. After the operation the Doctor claimed R9190 ,medical aid paid only R3736 which is 40% of the bill. when I call medical aid they told me that the specialist I have used is on in my network, and it was not my choice I got a referral from my gynaecologist I didn't choose the specialist because I liked it.

I'm so disappointed on Bonitas because if the specialist was not on my network they should have advised before giving me authorization. now I'm stucked with a bill of R5454 that i have to pay to the specialist.

I CANT FOR 2019 TO END SO THAT I CAN CANCEL MY MEDICAL AID WITH BONITAS BECAUSE I DONT SEE A NEED TO USE BONITAS.
