Unfair Underwriting Policies
Good day,
I would like to formally log a complaint. I find it extremely unfair that one of my recently added dependents have a waiting period app**** against them, due to their age and a medical condition which is well under control. This comes without a medical check or report to first assess it, and makes no sense considering the dependent already had medical cover.
In addition, you were willing to exclude the waiting period if the dependent transitioned from their Nedgroup medical aid, yet you are enforcing the waiting period because they are being added as a dependent instead. I find this anti-selective and humbly request for the waiting period to be removed.
