Please advise the reason for a waiting period for our newborn child who was born on the 20th of May 2025. If you have a look at the birth certificate, the father is the main member on the medical aid. I had 2 special dependants covered on my medical aid since birth and no waiting periods were implemented.
We need an answer before 13:00 today before we take further steps. We are already traumatised with the fact that our child was in ICU and now you're traumatising us with your waiting period stated on the acceptance letter. Since when is a waiting period implemented on a newborn's life?????
Were we supposed to add our child 3 months prior his birth to the medical aid??????
If you have a look at the birth certificate, the main member's details is on the birth certificate.
When not sure, please ask don't assume and think you know the details of people's lives when details were provided and you decided to assume things.

A year later and I'm receiving harrasment messages of an outstanding bill of +R40K not paid to the hospital of son's medical bill. I took your word when you said it has been resolved. I am not going to call call centres to do your job. You need to resolve this with Life Wilgers.
Your reason for nit pating thr bill according to Wilgers is "unregistered birth". Why was the other bills paid and not the bill of Dr Van Der Merwe.
Do the necessary work and resolve this query.
