Unbeleivable ripp off

Our daughter has been on the bonitas medical aid for her whole life(18 years),covered by her grandmother.in all the years shes had her visits to the docters for small things,nothing expensive or that required surgery.our last hospital visit was for her wisdom teeth to be taken out.with shock and horror,we had to fork out over R4300 on fees.i do not understand what the point of a medical aid is,if this is the case.we had to use all of our little savings and probably wont be able to make our holiday which was already paid for and is the first one in over 10 years.it was planned for my 40th birthday.sadly the truth is that it seems medical aids are only on it for the money.cant beleive that one of south africas supposed biggest and best med schemes,cannot pay for something as simple as wisdom teeth removal of a 18 year old child.makes me wonder what would happen if there had to be a real medical emergency.so sad and dissapointed in bonitas...and broke...
