unacceptable

Good day,

I received a mail from Boncap stating that an additional plan has been loaded for me as I was diagnosed with disorders of the ovary, fallopian tubes and uterus, with a list of services that will be covered for e.g. 2 gynecologists visit and an x-ray of the abdomen

I went to the gynae today with a referral from my GP, had to pay the consultation costs and the x-ray of the abdomen out of my pocket, again....

He has now scheduled me for a hospital procedure in order to solve some of the issues that is causing me major pain and problems and now apparently they will not approve it as they do not cover endometriosis, this was never discussed with me and I was never diagnosed with this so how can you now all of a sudden refuse treatment, surely this is a disorder of the ovary, fallopian tubes and uterus.

Never mind that I have to pay all medication and injections out of my pocket, including the stuff that appears on your prescribed list from December that now no longer gets approved.

I find this utterly disappointing and ridiculous I am awaiting your urgent feedback as I cannot spent R200 a day on the phone trying to get this resolved
