The most inconvenient medical aid fund
I (a student) joined Bonitas on the Bonstart plan last year and it's been the most frustrating thing I've done. You are always expected to co-pay everything. The only cover the eye tests (with co-payment) and not the part where you are supposed to get your prescription spectacles (which means i pay for the glasses). General practitioner; there's always a co-payment...The Dentist, there's always a co-payment. They don't even cover X-rays and expect you to co-pay prescribed medicine from the pharmacy. With dental care I can't even go with the most recommended(by dentist) anesthesia procedure for a wisdom teeth removal. It genuinely makes you wonder if you are actually on a medical aid scheme. It doesn't feel worth paying for and I am so fed up.
