Terrible service

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my request to change my medical aid option. While I appreciate that you have provided feedback on my submission and that I have already submitted a motivation to support my request, I am extremely uncomfortable with the additional demand for personal financial information such as my monthly expenses and payslip.

I believe this requirement is invasive and unnecessary, especially as the decision to change my medical aid option should not hinge on the disclosure of private financial details that are irrelevant to the benefits I am entitled to as a member.

I would like to reiterate that I have followed the correct procedure, submitted a written motivation, and provided reasonable justification for my request. I now request that my option change be reviewed and approved without further unnecessary intrusion into my personal financial matters.

Should this matter not be resolved to my satisfaction, I will be left with no alternative but to consider cancelling my membership with your scheme and seeking coverage with a provider who respects my privacy and treats their members with fairness and professionalism.

I request a written response within 5 working days confirming that my option change will be processed without the requirement to submit my payslip or personal expense breakdown. This should be effective from the 01st of July 2025
