Terrible benefits for 2024
Dear Bonitas Team,
I sent this email below to your team and I've received a very generic response.
I hope this message finds you well.
I have been reviewing the benefit changes for 2024, and I have noticed that while the price has increased, the corresponding benefits do not seem to reflect this. Specifically, in the case of prosthesis, the Primary option previously offered coverage capped at over R50,000. However, for 2024, it appears that the prosthesis coverage is now considered a PMB (Prescribed Minimum Benefit) only.
Furthermore, I have observed a significant reduction in the sublimit for auxi****y services such as Physiotherapy.
Could you please confirm if these changes are indeed correct and final?
Your team then responded saying the 2024 benefits aren't out. My response was that your app and your website states otherwise. After speaking to a consultant I was told that benefits for 2024 would be communicated and that option change would be extended.
My question is when will this be finalised? Until when will the option to change benefits be extended? Again why have you increased fees and downgraded benefits like prosthesis for example?

You've not answered my inquiry as to WHY benefits have decreased, specifically no prosthesis cover on Primary while the fee has increased? When will the 202r brochure be approved? Until when will the option change be extended to?
